READ AND SEE WHY THIS IS TRUE? IT’S VERY SIMPLE. DAVID WILLIAMS THE BUILDER OF DUMAGUETE STUDIO APARTMENTS WAS A FORMER SEA CAPTAIN WHO HAD EXERIENCED MANY OCEANIC EARTHQUAKES CALLED SEAQUAKES! THESE QUAKES USALLY OCCURED OFTEN IN THE SAME AREA ALONG CRACKS IN THE SEAFLOOR SO HE KNEW WHICH PARTS OF THE SEA TO AVOID.
HE ALSO KNEW BEFORE HE STARTED BUILDING DUMAGUETE STUDIO APARTMENTS THAT HE HAD TO AVOID AREAS IN THE GROUND WHERE QUAKES OFTEN OCCURRED. THERE ARE MANY AREAS WHERE EARTHQUAKES OCCUR. THE CAPTAIN ALSO WANTED AN APARTMENT BUILDING THAT WOULD OFTEN BE FULLY BOOKED AND WHERE HIS TENANTS WOULD BE SAFE FOR MANY YEARS TO COME. HIS CHALLENGE WAS TO FIND A PROPERTY ON WHICH ZERO EARTHQUAKES AND ZERO FLOODS NEVER TOOK PLACE EVEN BACK FOR AT LEAST 30 YEARS.
WHAT THE SEA CAPTAIN DID WAS CIRCLE AROUND BARANGAY CANDAU-AY FOR MANY MONTHS AND THEN HE FOUND A LARGE PIECE OF SOLID GROUND THAT HAD NEVER BEEN DISTURBED BY A VIOLENT EARTHQUAKE. THE REASON HE KNEW THE LAND WAS EARTHQUAKE SAFE WAS BECAUSE THERE WERE MANY OLD NATIVE HOUSES NEARBY THAT WERE ABOUT 50 YEARS OLD AND STILL STANDING STRONG!
TO MAKE SURE HE HAD LOCATE HIS IDEAL SPOT FOR BUILDING, HE INSPECTED EVERY OLD NIPPA HUT FOR MANY MILES IN ALL DIRECTION AND ONLY IN ONE AREA IN BARANGAY CANDAUAY DID HE FIND THAT EVEN NIPA HUTS AND OLD HOUSES (NO MATTER THAT THEY WERE VERY OLD WOODEN BUILDING) HAD EVER CRASHED TO THE GROUND GOING BACK 40 + YEARS! THIS MEAN ONLY ONE THING…. THE GROUND IN AND AROUND BARANGAY CANDAUAY HAD NEVER EXPERIENCED EARTHQUAKES OR EVEN DANGEROUS FLOODS. IF THEY HAD EXPERIENCED THE FURRY OF MOTHER NATURE THEN THERE WOULD BE EVIDENCE OF SERIOUS GROUND SHAKING! BUT SINCE THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF OLD COLLASPED HOUSES THE SEA CAPTAIN WAS 100% SURE THAT THIS AREA WOULD BE THE PERFECT PLACE TO BUILD A STRONG AND SAFE APARTMENT COMPLEX.

Dumaguete Studio Apartments is a great place to stay. Everything they promise on their website comes true. As you see from above their pool is beautiful, their motorbikes run great, their Fiber-Optic Internet delivers at super-high-speed (150,000 MGB PER SECOND), and their new 52 INCH Sony Smart TVs are really nice. You will enjoy these TVs even more if you bring along a “FIRE STICK.” You will get TV Programs from all around the world. Click the link below or look up FIRE STICK.

Vale wrote a 5 star review. This was my 3rd place to stay in Dumaguete. WIFI absolutely brilliant. The room was clean! The first thing you will experienced is the clean smell. Great pool. Very friendly owners. The place is somewhat further from downtown but who wants to be near the smoke fill traffic-jammed city. I have never seen such an amazing service and I have traveled extensively around the world. This operation is one of the best I’ve seen. I am normally too busy to write a review but if you are wanting the best, this is the place. And the monthly rental is especially cheap. When you factor in all the extras you are getting a hell of a good deal here. Date of stay: April 2022

Something unique in Dumaguete I have lived in this apartment complex for 4 months while working at the Dumaguete power plant. Very happy with my stay here! Safe, clean, comfortable and very well maintained. I’ve been traveling SE Asia for 9 months and the month at Dumaguete Studio Apartments was the most I’ve felt ‘at home’ (I’m from USA). Apt includes everything I needed to cook, excellent internet, and rental motorbike – I used everyday for shopping, touring and exploring. Owners live onsite and are very helpful. DATE OF STAY: FEBRUARY 2022

I was present when one tenant refused to leave a deposit or ID as a security deposit. This tenant then threatened the owner with violence and then left before paying his electric bill. You can see this person’s negative review several below mine. This person lived next door to my apartment and was a troubled person. If you want to stay in a safe, clean, well maintained property, I highly recommend Dumaguete Studio Apartments!

And the premises were gorgeous: the garden, the building, the pool area and the pool, and the room of course, they were all very tranquil and clean. And, perhaps strangely, I enjoyed the high quality of everything, the sturdy feel to everything from the furniture to the building itself. It’s all built according to standards I’m only used to from back home. The internet is the best you’ll find in the city. Right outside you’ll find a convenience store and a street vendor selling delicious lunch. And last but not least, the motorbike rental is a great benefit. I had a lot of fun visiting places around the area. Thank you for the stay! Traveled solo

BudgetI stayed for a month and enjoyed every day of my stay. The grounds are clean and secure, I never felt unsafe once. The apartments are perfect for two. They are large, airy, and clean. The best part was the pool which was very clean, large enough to stay cool during the day but not so big that you can’t swim end to end. I took full advantage and rented a motorbike but if you don’t ride, public transportation is just outside the gate. Date of stay: February 2022 Trip type: Traveled solo!
